John Deere X Series Tractor Front Fender Kit
John Deere X Series Tractor Front Fender Kit. Front fenders help keep the mud and debris from being thrown on the mower deck, tractor, and operator. The sleek and sporty-looking fenders add styling. The fenders really work well for keeping the mower deck clean, preventing the typical grass buildup. Fenders help protect the operator from mud and debris.
Three different kits are available to fit the various tractor models. The kits include fenders and mounting parts for both front wheels. Below is a list of all available part numbers as well as models and descriptions of what they fit. Front fender kit for X400 HDGT Series and X700 Ultimate Series 2-wheel-drive 2-wheel-steer tractors (X700, X720, X740). Front fenders are not compatible with four-wheel-steer tractors because the mounting parts do not fit.
The front fenders are not compatible with the 48C/48X Mowers on two-wheel-drive tractors because of interference between the front fenders and the 48C/48X Mowers. Four-wheel-drive tractors have a longer wheelbase than two-wheel-drive so the 48C/48X Mowers can be used on four-wheel-drive tractors with a front fender kit. Front fender kit (X710, X730, X750). Front fender kit for tractors with mechanical front wheel drive. For model year 2008 and prior X728 and X748 Tractors (Serial Number -040000); these tractors have mechanical front wheel drive.

Front fender kit for 4-wheel-drive 4-wheel-steer tractors. Note: For X729 and X749 Tractors. Replaced by BM22717 front fender kit for tractors with hydraulic front wheel drive. Works great about 30 mins to install. Looks and works great in both applications.Installed quickly on my X740. My only compliant is that part of the mounting bracket on the left side covers the grease fitting. Fenders DO keep the deck cleaner!
