This is a VINTAGE, ORIGINAL, New Old Stock N. , John Deere Tachometer / Speedometer w/ Cable.

In original John Deere parts boxes with #AF2696R and AF2698R. NEVER BEEN USED ON A TRACTOR! Per Internet Parts Search, believed to fit. 0 Miles on the gauge. Has AF2698R on the face of the gauge.

On the side housing it reads Registers Cable Speed Hourmeter Indicated Speed 1155 R. The back has "1548514-W" and "Oct 16 1958" - perhaps the date is was finished and inspected. The back appears to be missing one mounting stud that broke off somewhere over this parts 50+ years traveling.

(photo 8) - so you will need to re-spot weld one or determine an alternate method of attaching this. BRACKET, nuts and bolts included. Both gauge and cable both have a tiny bit of surface rust at various points. Diameter of gauge face - 3 3/4.

Depth of gauge itself - 2 1/2. Thoroughly examine photos and double check your parts books or resources to ensure correct application to your tractor and desired condition before purchasing.
